Hey, wassup you two?

While enjoying a cool glass of wine on the porch, Maya and I noticed a praying mantis hanging out on the railing. Luckily, I had my camera with me so I shot some video.

Nothing to see here, just minding my own business.

While filming, a lady bug landing on the railing just below the praying mantis. Now, this may sound a bit morbid, but I continued filming just to see what would happen.

Did I eat already?

Good news, the lady bug survived. The praying mantis looked at it for a minute but didn’t seem that interested.

Oh yeah, I had 5 Guys for lunch.

This was also the first video I edited with my new Adobe Premiere CS6. It’s alot like Final Cut Pro, as far as non-linear editing goes, which I’m use to working with but I think I’ll get the hang of adobe products. But what I’m really excited about is using the adobe creative suite, especially flash and illustrator! Who knows, maybe I’ll finally get around to making that cartoon I’ve always talked about.
